The holiday season is a great time to stop, think, and give thanks as the year comes to an end. This time of year usually makes me think about how lucky I am, both personally and professionally, and how important the people in my life are to me.

I can honestly say that I know this neighborhood like the back of my hand because I've lived and worked in Puako for decades. Puako is more than simply a site; it's a living narrative. Every tide, every old tree, and every stone on the shore has stories to tell from long ago.
